Cottage Holidays in Exmoor
Beesknees self catering cottage sleeps up to 4 people in a king size room and twin bedroom. Both with wooden exposed beams. Including a kitchen and open plan dining area and spacious sitting room. The cottage is a semi detached recently converted barn, situated on a peaceful working farm in the Exmoor national park. Adjoining Beesknees cottage is Honeycott cottage which is also available to stay. You have your own private garden area, plus a communal open orchard garden with beautiful views across Exmoor and the coast. Pets are welcome, with lots of walks on the farm. Everything is to a high standard with a very friendly feel.
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 spacious with king-size wooden bed. Wardrobe and shelving for storage. French doors open out onto patio area, which then leads onto the garden. Bedroom 2 with 2 single beds, with wardrobe. All bed linen included. Bathroom: WC situated on ground floor. Main bathroom situated upstairs with bath and shower. Towels, heating and hot water included.
Open plan kitchen/dining room area with large dining table and chairs. Electric cooker and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. tea towels and clothes included. We have our own private water supply. 2 x 2-seater leather sofas. Flat screen TV with DVD recorder. A nice light sunny room.
Outside is a nicely kept enclosed garden with grass area. Also a pergola walkway onto a patio seating area. This garden is private and walled. It leads onto an orchard communal area (with other cottage) which overlooks the valley leading to the Bristol channel. You can walk out of the door straight onto the farm, where there are ample pretty walks. In the spring a bluebell wood, in the winter lots of snowdrops. Also the lost village of Clicket with lots of ruins to view at the bottom of the farm. There is shared parking, which can fit 2 cars per cottage. Coast/Beach: Dunster and Minehead beaches are 7 miles/15 mins drive. These are sandy beaches. Blue Anchor is a pebble/sandy beach 8 miles from the farm. Woolacombe is a popular surfing beach on the Devon coast about 1 hours drive. Golf: Minehead and West Somerset Golf club is situated 7 miles from the farm and is an 18 hole course, or there is Oak Manor Golf club near Wiveliscombe.
