Emmett's Grange is a stunning country house which sleeps 11, alongside a smaller Linhay annexe which sleeps 2. Both sit at the centre of a the exquisite 900 acre private moorland estate which guests are free to explore. The estate provides a wonderfully secluded location for those wishing to get away from it all and explore the beauty of Exmoor National Park. However, it is also only a short drive to explore the many delights that North Devon and West Somerset has to offer. The Grange boasts luxury indoor facilities including a music room, Victorian conservatory, library and drawing room. With a further games barn, croquet lawn, tennis court and walled garden outside, the house provides the ultimate property for large families and groups. On site stabling is also available on request for those wishing to explore the national park with their own horse.

Sleeps 10 or 11 in 5 bedrooms. Downstairs you will find a luxurious music room with views out onto the moor, a large Victorian conservatory, a fully equipped farmhouse styled kitchen, Butler's pantry, period dining room with seating for 13, a cosy drawing room with log fire, a library/games room as well as a further office and utility room. Upstairs is the large 'Knight Room' which can either be a triple or a double with an additional single bed alongside a large private bathroom. Next door is cosy four poster double bed with en-suite. Further on is a cosy twin room with en-suite, and another room which sleeps two in either a double or twin. This shares a large bathroom with the final bunk room which sleeps 2 in a set of bunkbeds. Outside, guests have private access to the full sized tennis court, walled garden, croquet lawn (with garden furniture) and a games barn with table tennis, skittles and a 1/4 sized snooker table. Guests are also more than welcome to explore the beauty of 900 acre estate.

Coast/Beach: The closest coastal areas are at Porlock and further along at the stunning villages of Lynton and Lynmouth where you can walk along the beautiful South West Coast Path. For beaches there is the historic tunnels beaches of Ilfracombe, ideal for families, or for both sun and surf there are excellent miles of long sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Putsborough, Croyde and Saunton which are approximately a 35 minute drive away.

There are 4 pubs within a 10 minute drive of the estate: The Exmoor Forest Inn at Simonsbath (2.5 miles) The Black Venus Inn in Challacombe (7.7 miles) The Poltimore Arms in South Molton (3.3 miles) and the Sportsmans Inn also in South Molton (5.3 miles.) The closest restaurants can be found at the acclaimed Black Venus in Challacombe or at Simonsbath House in Simonsbath. In Simonsbath there is also a post office and small shop to pick up essentials.
